Motherhood in Black & White
Hosted by Gen X moms, Kaanji Irby and Tara Campbell. These two women- one Black and one White- come from different worlds, but have become close friends through their shared experiences as suburban ‘boy moms,’ working women in male-dominated workplaces, and their love of 90s hip-hop. Listen in as they chat with each other and connect with guests about parenting and pop culture and the tragedies and triumphs of motherhood with honesty, empathy and humor.

Episode 7
This week, we are joined by Brenna Vivier, a mother of 3 who shares her story of navigating "invisible" illness and how she has found peace in the chaos through a regular mindfulness and meditation practice. Brenna talks to us about being an empty nester, her new book, Water Stops, and we all reminisce about spending our early mornings in a dark room cycling together.
Be sure to add Water Stops to your upcoming reading list.
